What is Apprenticeship?

It is a contract with training content , defined for this reason as having mixed causes, since it requires the company to undertake to provide the apprentice with professional training within the employment relationship.

The Three Types of Apprenticeship

Legislative Decree no. 81 of 2015, "Organic regulation of employment contracts and revision of the legislation on job descriptions," regulates apprenticeship contracts by dividing them into three types:

• Apprenticeship for professional qualification and diploma, secondary school diploma and higher technical specialization certificate
• Professionalizing apprenticeship
• Higher education and research apprenticeship

Professional Apprenticeship: How It Works

The training for professional apprenticeship is divided into:

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

(Regulated at national level by collective agreements or inter-confederal agreements)

CESCOT MODENA provides a "dedicated consultant" who will follow the company throughout the training period, offering advice on:

• The implementation of the individual training plan
• Training planning and delivery of documentation for the scheduling and formalization of the training path, offering the possibility of carrying out the safety course
• Monitoring and assistance in carrying out the training course

TRAINING FOR THE ACQUISITION OF BASIC AND TRANSVERSAL SKILLS

(Regulated by the Emilia-Romagna Region)

The Emilia-Romagna Region finances, thanks to the EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND ESF+ , through the provision of training vouchers for each apprentice, a mandatory 40-hour course only for the first year of the contract.

For apprentices who have already benefited from training in previous professional apprenticeships, the Region recognizes the annual training completed as credit, based on the reference catalogs.

Thanks to the participation of various organizations, the Consortium brings together the best professional skills from the business and trade union worlds and has equipped laboratories and teaching facilities close to you throughout the region to offer specific training in all production sectors.
