The European Social Fund Plus is the main financial instrument through which Europe invests in people to enhance citizens' skills, strengthen their capacity to address changes in the labor market, promote quality employment, and combat economic, social, gender, and generational inequalities.
The 2021/2027 ESF+ Programme of the Emilia-Romagna Region
The Emilia-Romagna Region, through discussions with local authorities, stakeholders, and the economic and social partnership, has developed its own programming strategy for available resources, amounting to over €1 billion.
The Programme is the main instrument for implementing the European Pillar of Social Rights at the regional level. Projects funded with ESF+ resources are selected by the Region through public tender procedures that guarantee quality and transparency.
